It's happening. Building work has started - or rather demolition work has started. Rick arrived and met Guillhaume and they report back that things are moving rapidly. Walls are down, holes are being created for new windows and when I enquired about the large camellia bush out the back, Rick said that I didn't need to worry about it being moved, basically it was flattened. Anyway given the fact that things grow as fast as you chuck seeds in the ground that's not a problem. I just hope the vine is protected because the grapes are so sweet and fat.
So exciting. So scary.

What do you do when you reach OAP invisibility and have no ties? A farm in France could be the solution, especially when you didn't mean to buy it but got seduced by a gay ex-shepherd turned estate agent who sells you an abode in Carresse-Oraas. This is an adventure.
